Pregnancy yoga is the perfect exercise for pregnant women and is recommended by midwives and doctors. It can enhance feelings of well-being and balance during this exciting period of change.  I recently gave birth to my son Samuel and I truly understand the daily joys and challenges that pregnancy brings. I found yoga to be enormously beneficial during my pregnancy, as it increased my energy levels and helped me to connect with my growing baby. The breathing techniques and postures we practise in each class are invaluable throughout pregnancy and during labour. 

During pregnancy yoga can:

  • build strength, stamina and flexibility
  • ease pregnancy aches and pains
  • prepare you for labour
  • give you time to nurture yourself and your baby
  • relieve anxiety and aid restful sleep
  • give you the opportunity to meet other mums-to-be

Classes are booked in blocks, so that you can reap the benefits of regular practice and get to know local mums-to-be. Class numbers are small to ensure that everyone receives individual attention.

You are welcome to join if you are over twelve weeks pregnant (or after your first scan). It is safe and beneficial for you and your baby to practise right up to (and during!) your labour.
